Field Service EngineerLocation: Reading / M4 CorridorJob Type: PermanentBenefits: Company vehicle, door-to-door pay, overtime, training and developmentAre you a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Technician looking for a role where no two days are the same?We''re working with a leading provider of automated materials handling and warehouse systems who are looking to strengthen their field service team with an experienced, electrically biased engineer.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone based around Reading or the M4 Corridor who enjoys being hands-on, solving technical problems and working directly with customers.You''ll be responsible for keeping sophisticated automated systems operating safely and efficiently, from planned preventative maintenance through to diagnosing and resolving breakdowns.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will:Attend customer sites across the M4 Corridor and surrounding areas.Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of automated materials handling equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical faults.Work on conveyor systems, sortation equipment, automated handling systems and associated machinery.Carry out fault finding on motors, drives, sensors, control systems and PLC-controlled equipment.Support installation, commissioning, upgrades and modifications where required.Respond to breakdowns and work efficiently to minimise customer downtime.Read and interpret electrical ..... full job details .....
