If so, this role with a leading manufacturer may be of interest to you? Daily travel and working on the installation, service and maintenance of food packaging, sealing, and wrapping machinery.

The Company recruiting for the Field Service Engineer:

• Established (50+ years) international manufacturer with an impressive product portfolio.
• Actively working with organisations to reduce plastic and increase recyclability.
• Having previously outsourced their NI and RoI operations, they are now looking to bring it in house.
• A stable engineering team which you''ll be part of, with the ability to build a lasting career with progression opportunities.

Your Role as a Field Service Engineer:

• Based from home and covering the island of Ireland.
• Servicing, installing, repairing, and maintaining a range of food production, processing, and packaging machinery.
• Conducting end-user training to advise on best practices to minimise downtime.
• Your time is split between reactive, proactive, and project work; plenty to keep you on your toes.
• Mon - Fri role, working 40 hours per week and lots of overtime available.
• 1 in 4 weekends with Friday and Monday off.
• Note; there will be a need for 2 - 3 nights away from home per week, and an intensive training period in England to start with.

Ideal Background for the Field Service Engineer Position:

• You must have previously worked as an engineer within the food manufacturing / processing / production sector either as an in-house maintenance engineer or in a field service capacity.
  • Unfortunately, this is non-negotiable and applications without will be unsuccessful.
• Ideally, you will hold an engineering qualification.
• Multiskilled as you''ll be working with electrical, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
• Willing/able to spend nights away from home, an average of 2 - 3 nights per week.
• Personable and happy in a fast-paced, customer facing role.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in UK indefinitely.

The Package for a Field Service Engineer:

• -44,000 - -45,200 basic salary depending on experience
• -16k typical overtime (Uncapped)
• Company vehicle, tools and all equipment provided
• Paid door to door
• Pension, Mobile, Tablet
• 20 days holiday plus stats (increasing to 25 with time served)
