Overview Field Service Engineer (Mechanical Bias) Location: Bristol and surrounding areas (Field-Based) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 42,500 + Company Bonus + Company Vehicle + Phone Hours: Days Role Overview - Field Service Engineer We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join our engineering team covering sites across the UK along with Europe, Asia and America. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing a range of specialist capital equipment used in industrial manufacturing processes, including systems associated with investment casting, autoclaves, and steam-based machinery. The successful candidate will be a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving in the field and delivering high-quality technical support to customers. Key Responsibilities - Field Service Engineer Installation, servicing, and maintenance of capital equipment at customer sites Mechanical fault-finding and repair of systems including autoclaves, steam equipment, and associated machinery Supporting equipment used in investment casting processes Carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and performance Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime Working with a range of mechanical components including valves, pumps, pressure systems, and pipework Supporting commissioning of new equipment and upgrades Providing clear service reports and documentation following site visits Maintaining strong ..... full job details .....
