The Field Service Engineer Opportunity:
We''re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our fast-growing UK operations based in Essex. Since 2018, SIGMA4UK Ltd has partnered with c2c and, more recently, Avanti West Coast, delivering advanced support for ticket vending systems nationwide.

This is a unique chance to blend your technical expertise with hands-on engineering, backed by international training and support.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

• Providing onsite installation, maintenance, and repair for ticket vending machines at railway stations operated by Trenitalia c2c Limited
• Diagnosing faults and delivering fast, effective solutions
• Performing routine preventive maintenance to maximise machine uptime
• Working closely with SIGMA’s technical teams across the UK and Europe
• Supporting testing procedures and maintaining accurate service logs and documentation

What We''re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with electronic or electromechanical systems (ideally TVMs or ATMs)
• Technical qualification (university degree or college diploma) or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of hardware/software troubleshooting
• Solid computer literacy and confident using laptops/software tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel across London to Shoeburyness, and occasionally nationwide
• Ability to spend one month in Italy for full product training (all costs covered)

Bonus Points For:

• Italian language skills
• Experience with Ticket Vending Machines, ATMs or similar self-service systems
