Field Service Engineer 40,000 - 60,000 Basic DOE + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Company VanOTE: 50,000 - 70,000BASED FROM HOME UK and International TravelWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturer of specialist CNC machinery and automated steel processing equipment.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong CNC, machine tool, laser cutting background who enjoys being out in the field, solving technical problems and working directly with customers.The role will involve travelling throughout the UK as well as internationally to support a range of highly automated machinery, including CNC drilling and milling machines, automated saws, laser and plasma cutting systems, beam and plate processing machinery, and pipe and tube processing equipment.The successful engineer can be based around the Manchester area or Midlands, with the position involving regular travel to customer sites.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and technical support of specialist CNC and automated machinery at customer sites.Your responsibilities will include:Service, maintenance and fault finding on CNC machineryElectrical and mechanical troubleshootingWorking with CNC control systems and PLC-controlled equipmentFault finding on Beckhoff PLC systemsDiagnosing issues with servo drives and control systemsMaintenance of hydraulic and ..... full job details .....
