Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel engines

• Fault finding and troubleshooting on power generation equipment

• Planning maintenance, parts and resources to ensure efficient repairs

• Working on customer sites across Great Britain

• Participating in an on-call rota and attending breakdowns

• Completing service reports and maintaining health and safety standards

Background Required:

• Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification (ONC/HNC, NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds or equivalent)

• Minimum of 3 years'' experience in a mechanical or electrical engineering role

• Strong knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines

• Ability to work independently and deliver effective technical solutions

• Full UK driving licence

• Flexible approach to travel, working away from home for up to two weeks at a time, including weekends and out-of-hours work

Desirable:

• Gas Safe qualification

• Health and safety qualification and valid CSCS card

• Knowledge of control systems, engine controllers and PLCs

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
