Field Service Engineer

Position: Field Service EngineerSalary: 30,000 - 40,000Location: Wellingborough, UK wide travel Field Service Engineer required. Our client is a growing specialist manufacturer of packaging machinery and solutions, supplying to customers across the UK. Due to the ongoing growth of the business, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their engineering team. The role will involve UK-wide travel, with occasional international travel, and will provide the opportunity to work on a wide range of industrial packaging and automated machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing and optimising end-of-line packaging machinery at customer sites, whilst providing a professional and reliable service to customers. Field Service Engineer Position Overview Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults on industrial packaging machineryCarrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicingAttending customer sites to investigate and repair machinery breakdownsInstalling, commissioning and setting up new packaging machineryOptimising machine performance, reliability and film usageIdentifying opportunities to improve machine efficiency and reduce operating costsProviding professional technical support and guidance to customers on siteCompleting accurate engineer service reports and providing feedback to customers and the wider engineering teamWorking independently when required, whilst also supporting colleagues as part ..... full job details .....
