Field Service Engineer

Service Engineer South Salary circa 50,000+ Company Car Market Leader A leading supplier of Automated production machinery, known for high-quality equipment and exceptional customer support across the UK and Ireland, is seeking an experienced Service Engineer. The role will be to service, maintain, and calibrate machinery across the South of England. This is a hands-on, field-based role offering flexibility, autonomy, and one office day per week for admin tasks. Responsibilities of a Service EngineerDiagnose and repair faults on Automated production machineryCarry out strip-downs, calibrations, and board-level component replacementsRead and interpret wiring, pneumatic, and technical diagramsWork with 12v, 3-phase (60 amp), and 10T hydraulic loading systemsInstall, service, and commission new and existing machineryProvide technical support and training to customers on-siteSupport colleagues on larger projects as required Requirements of a Service EngineerProven fault-finding experience on industrial machineryStrong electrical knowledge (single and three-phase)Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAbility to interpret wiring and technical diagramsExperience working on CNC, SMT, or similar automated machineryConfident working independently and managing your own schedule Benefits 50,000 basic salaryCompany car (current vehicle provided, choice available at renewal)Flexible working hoursDiscretionary Christmas bonusDiscretionary commissionAll travel expenses covered If ..... full job details .....
