Job Role: Field Service Engineer South
Location: Oxfordshire + Surrounding Areas

Shift: Monday - Friday
Salary: -40k - -45k + van or allowance

Job Role Responsibilities:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join my clients team, providing comprehensive technical support across our range of high-value equipment. The role involves servicing, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair activities, while maintaining high standards of customer service and promoting our products and services.

• Perform on-site maintenance, repair, and calibration of instruments and equipment in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work meets internal quality standards and complies with service level agreements.
• Prepare detailed calibration reports and certificates.
• Respond effectively to technical enquiries and resolve issues to customer satisfaction.
• Report field observations and customer feedback to the Service Manager.
• Set individual performance goals aligned with company KPIs
• Apply strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across various technical scenarios.
• Perform other duties as required by the department.

The Candidate:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years'' experience in a technical service, support, or field engineering role.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Proven experience working with high-value electrical capital equipment.
• Experience with SAP / IT literate
• High level of flexibility to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
• Ability to prioritise, self-manage, and work independently.
• Calm under pressure with excellent time management.
• Technically up to date and continuously learning.
• 1 week training overseas required
