Job Summary The Field Service & PDI Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support of multifunctional print devices, IT-connected office equipment, and related technology solutions. The role combines field-based copier engineering, IT support skills, and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) responsibilities to ensure equipment is prepared, configured, and deployed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Field Service Engineering - Install, service, maintain, and repair multifunctional printers, photocopiers, scanners, and associated office technology. - Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, software, and connectivity faults. - Respond to customer service calls within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). - Complete preventative maintenance visits to maximise equipment reliability and customer satisfaction. - Accurately record service activity, parts usage, and customer interactions using company systems. - Provide technical advice and user guidance to customers where required.
