Field Sales Executive

A quick look at the roleWe currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager (Field Sales)

who will be aligned to one of our North London or East

London Depots. The successful field sales executive’s main objective will be to win new business across multiple sectors in the SME marketplace in line with monthly targets.

The role comes with an uncapped bonus (£12K OTE) and company car..Your core responsibilitiesGenerate new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting SME businesses across all market sectors within your territory.Build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against monthly and annual sales targets and ensure KPI''s are achieved and exceeded.Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation, site visits, pricing, negotiation and closing.Liaise with your local Depot, RSM, RBDM Customer Services and other internal departments to ensure a smooth and professional interaction between Biffa and the customer.Participate in regional sales campaigns and strategies in line with the overall regional business plan.Ensure all leads, activity and contracts are recorded on the Biffa operating system.Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our range of services and solutions by working closely with our in-house training team, Depot staff, management and your peers..Our essential requirementsProven record of delivering new business sales and generating a sales pipelineAbility to identify, nurture and develop new business opportunitiesUnderstanding of sales methods and KPI’s and how to use them to build and plan for success.Excellent administrative, communication and organisational skillsSome knowledge of the Waste Industry and Waste Management is desirable but not essential.Biffa – we’re changing the way people think about wasteAt Biffa, we love working with waste.
