Field Sales Engineer (Valves)

An experienced Sales Engineer with experience in either process instrumentation or valves is sought by a successful equipment manufacturer to drive forward sales across Scotland. Working with clients within various process industries you will be responsible for generating new leads, developing relationships with existing customers, and identifying new market opportunities for the company''s range of specialist valves, instrumentation and related fittings etc. You will also prepare proposals, assess client specifications and recommend the appropriate products to fulfil their needs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing the sales process from initial contact to order placement, including quoting, negotiating, and closing deals.Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Maintaining a strong understanding of the company''s product portfolio, including valves, instrumentation, and related services.The ideal candidate will be an experienced Sales / Business Development professional with a good background in selling valves or instrumentation to the process sector (Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Paper, Minerals, Food and Beverage etc) and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the industry.
