Temporal Technologies is seeking an experienced Events and Field Marketing Manager to design, execute, and maximize Temporal''s presence across the EMEA region. This highly cross-functional role collaborates with Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Solutions Architecture, Developer Relations, and Global Marketing to deliver programs that build awareness, generate pipeline, and strengthen Temporal''s developer community.What You’ll Do
Own Regional Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the annual and quarterly events calendar and budget for the EMEA region, aligning with global priorities and local market needs.Execute Regional Campaigns: Design and deliver integrated marketing programs tailored to regional goals, including account-based marketing, digital campaigns, workshops, meetups, and partner activations.Lead Event Execution: Manage end-to-end planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, developer summits, and sponsorships—including logistics, vendor management, equipment, catering, travel, collateral, and swag.Drive Community Engagement: Partner with Developer Relations to support grassroots programs, meetups, and champion networks that foster adoption and strengthen Temporal''s developer community.Adapt Global Programs Locally: Localize global marketing initiatives to ensure cultural, language, and compliance alignment within the EMEA region.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales to drive pipeline creation and acceleration, and with Marketing teams to plan pre-, during-, and post-event engagement programs. Measure and Optimize: Track performance, budgets, and ROI of all regional programs, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.Support Flagship Events: Contribute to Temporal''s global initiatives, including bi-annual internal company-wide events and the annual developer conference, Replay, occasionally traveling to the United States.Travel: Expect up to 50% travel during peak conference season (average 25-30% annually), primarily across EMEA.What You’ll Bring
5+ years of field marketing or demand generation experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud industries.Proven success executing regional marketing programs that drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline growth. Strong experience managing events of all sizes—from grassroots meetups to large-scale conferences.Hands-on expertise with event sponsorships, including contract negotiation, vendor management, and deliverables.Familiarity with EMEA market dynamics, cultural nuances, and compliance requirements.Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects against tight deadlines.Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Developer Relations teams.Experience using marketing technologies such as Salesforce and Marketo (preferred, not required).Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.Passion for open source, developer communities, and distributed systems.Reside within the United Kingdom with a strong preference for London.Compensation
The estimated pay range for this role is £86,000 - £98,000.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal''s equity plan.Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation across geographic markets.
