Field Engineer

About the Role: An established technology services provider is seeking a Field Engineer to join its growing engineering team. This is a varied, customer-facing role responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading telecommunications and IT infrastructure across customer sites, data centres, and network environments. The successful candidate will enjoy a mix of hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and customer interaction, working with a wide range of networking and connectivity technologies. Key Responsibilities: Install and configure networking and telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, modems, and associated infrastructure. Deliver onsite and remote technical support to customers. Carry out maintenance and fault-finding activities to restore services quickly and effectively. Perform service migrations and technology upgrades. Install and manage power, fibre, and structured cabling within rack environments. Load and validate device configurations where required. Record engineering activity accurately and maintain job documentation. Ensure equipment is correctly packaged, labelled, and returned following project completion. Deliver a high standard of customer service while managing time efficiently across multiple assignments. About you: Minimum of three years'' experience within a Telecoms, Networking, IT Infrastructure, or Field Engineering environment.
