Field Engineer - Mechanical

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset - Construction Site - Mon-Fri (5 days per week)Status: Contract - Inside IR35 Duration: Approved until 31dec27 (renewable) Reports to: Construction Superintendent Morson Edge are working on behalf of a major player in the Energy Sector who have a contract requirement for a Mechanical Field Engineer to join their established site based team. All work is associated with the Nuclear New Build Project in North Somerset and presents the successful candidate with an opportunity to gain unique experience contributing to one of Europe''s largest infrastructure Projects. Typical Accountabilities The Mechanical Field Engineer is responsible for the surveillance of quality compliance within the designated section of the Contractor Works in accordance with Project requirements. o Activities are related to the mechanical Construction / Installation / Assembly of Mechanical Equipment (such as Static and Rotating Equipment, Pipes, Pipes Support, including the welding process etc ).You will be required to : Check the Works are constructed in accordance with the Contractor''s Work Information escalating deviation and non-conformance request requirements when necessary.Proactively communicate with other stakeholders of the considered scope of work, maintain good communication links and ensure surveillance is timely reported.Endeavour to identify potential Quality issues before they arrive to enable mitigating actionsSupport team instructions to take temporary ..... full job details .....
