Field Business Development Manager

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team to cover North of England, Midlands and Scotland. This would ideally suit someone locally to Birmingham as this would support major client in this area. This is a Field Based role, however there will be instances where you will be asked to work away from home, to attend training sessions, Sales Meetings, Meet Clients and attend Exhibitions in the Industry. Salart £40-£45K plus commission Company car or car allowance. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for: Driving the growth and retention of contracts across your region. Identifying and securing new regional and national business opportunities. Generating leads through cold calling, tenders, contract renewals, previous customers, customer referrals, and internal leads. Managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to contract award. Meeting customers to understand their requirements and carrying out site surveys. Recommending the most suitable service solution based on customer needs. Preparing, submitting, and following up on quotations within agreed timescales. Building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service throughout the sales process. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on the CRM system. Ensuring a smooth handover of successful projects to the Operations team. Working closely with field engineers, sales teams, and operational colleagues to identify new opportunities.
