Field Based Engineer

Field Service Engineer Location: North West (Field-Based with UK Travel) Salary: £45,000 + Company Vehicle + Excellent Benefits The Opportunity Our client is a well-established engineering business providing specialist maintenance, servicing and refurbishment solutions to the animal feed, biomass and industrial processing sectors across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer who enjoys a varied role, combining workshop refurbishment with nationwide field service work. You''ll work on a wide range of industrial processing equipment, supporting customers with planned maintenance, breakdown response and equipment upgrades. The Role You''ll split your time between workshop-based refurbishment projects and travelling to customer sites throughout the UK. This role would suit someone with strong mechanical maintenance experience gained within manufacturing, heavy industry, agriculture, biomass, recycling or heavy plant environments. Flexibility to travel and occasionally work weekends is essential. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on industrial milling, pelleting and processing equipment.
