The successful candidate will initially be deployed on a long-term project in the North West of England. As a Fibre Engineer, you''ll be responsible for installing, testing, fault finding and commissioning fibre optic telecommunications systems across the rail network. Working alongside the Lead Installation & Test Engineer or PICOT, you''ll help deliver high-quality projects safely and in accordance with Network Rail standards. Key Responsibilities Install, test and commission fibre optic cabling and telecommunications systems. Carry out OTDR and Insertion Loss testing. Diagnose fibre faults and complete remedial works.
