This is an exciting opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment, this is an ideal role for a graduate. Key responsibilities for Fettler/Polisher: To carry out deburring/polishing of parts for the aerospace industry in a machine shop environment. Removing burrs and sharp edges using files, scrapers and rotary tools Grind/polish materials to drawing requirements using air/hand tools to achieve the required finish. Light polishing of various steel and aluminum components. Visual inspection of completed products. Completing appropriate documentation. Working to ISO 50001/14001/ 45001/9001 standards As part of your role you will be asked to support the Energy team and consider energy reduction and savings within the scope of your role leading to continuous improvement.
