Job Title:-Fettler / Metal Finishing Operative

Department:-Manufacturing / Production

Reporting to:-Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Deburr and finish metal components using-hand tools such as grinders, files, and linishing equipment.
• Work to production orders while meeting-customer specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret-technical drawings.
• Use measuring equipment including-tape measures, steel rulers, and vernier calipers.
• Select and use-appropriate cleaning equipment-for different materials and components.
• Package finished parts-according to required specifications.
• Ensure all packaging is completed to a-high standard-to protect components during handling and transport.
• Follow all-health and safety procedures-in line with workplace policies.
• Read and understand-work instructions and production orders.
• Use-material handling equipment-such as forklifts or lifting equipment when required (where licensed).
• Follow-quality control procedures-during all stages of production.
• Perform-basic inspection of finished components-and escalate issues when higher-level inspection is required.
