Fettler and Polisher Job Title: Fettler and PolisherPay: £17.50 per hourReporting To: Production Manager / Fabrication ManagerWorking HoursMonday-Thursday: 7:00am-3:00pmFriday: 7:00am-12:30pm36.5 hours per weekBenefits 10% employer pension contribution5% employee pension contribution£40,000 life insurance Key Requirements Previous experience as a Fettler and Polisher within a fabrication, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environment.Experience with fettling, grinding, deburring, sanding, linishing, polishing and finishing metal components to a high standard.Competent in the safe and accurate use of hand tools, grinders and finishing equipment.Ability to follow drawings, specifications, work instructions and quality requirements.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing a high standard of finish and quality workmanship.Ability to safely use workshop and finishing equipment.Reliable, practical, and able to work well as part of a team. Main Duties Fettling, grinding, deburring, sanding, linishing and polishing of metal components.Removing excess material, sharp edges, weld spatter, burrs and surface defects.Preparing and finishing components to drawings, specifications and quality requirements.Using hand tools, grinders, linishers, sanders, polishing equipment and other finishing equipment safely and effectively.Checking finished work for quality and accuracy.Reporting defects, non-conformances or production issues to management.Maintaining a clean, safe, and ..... full job details .....
