The role focuses on promoting independence, supporting physical and emotional wellbeing, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. The individual is highly motivated to maximise her independence, return home, and work towards eventually returning to her career as a social worker. She currently requires 24-hour support. Responsibilities: Provide safe, person-centred care in line with Marie’s care plan and risk assessments. Support with personal care, mobility, transfers, positioning, and daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence. Encourage rehabilitation, confidence, and progress towards independent living. Provide emotional support and promote overall wellbeing.
