- Full Time Vacancy: (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) open to 3 days a week Part Time
Female PE Teacher Specification
We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher for a full-time role at a secondary school in the Birmingham area. This position is to start in April 2026 and is a maternity cover role for minimum 9 months.
To be considered, you must have prior experience delivering Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged students (KS3 and KS4), with a proven ability to inspire young learners and promote physical wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential, KS5 desirable)
- A passion for promoting sports, physical fitness, and teamwork
- Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory PE lessons
- Knowledge of GCSE PE curriculum is advantageous
- Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can assist with this)
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
