Female Mental Health Support Worker Location - Wrexham £13.50 per hour Role Description Female Mental Health Support Worker This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1. Due to the nature of the role and the needs of the people we support, we can only accept applications from Female''s for this position. Gray Healthcare are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers within the Wrexham area to support a lady in her late twenties with a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder and Schizoaffective disorder, who be living independently in her own home receiving 1:1 support 24 hours a day. The lady we will be supporting has a keen interest in baking and crafts and likes to keep busy and active. She will be supported by a female team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights. Female Mental Health Support Worker Required Skills and Experience Social care experience, ideally within mental health and with some experience of supporting individuals with complex care needs. Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities. Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging. Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments. You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months.
