Female SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Benfleet, Essex Location: Benfleet, EssexJob Type: Full-Time Monday FridayStart Date: ASAPSalary: £95 £110 per day (depending on experience)Agency: TeacherActiveAbout the Role TeacherActive is currently recruiting a dedicated, compassionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist SEND school in Benfleet, Essex.The school supports children and young people with a wide range of complex learning needs, including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASC) and physical disabilities.We are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and confident in providing individualised support to pupils who require additional assistance throughout their school day.The role involves supporting pupils with their education, emotional wellbeing and personal development, helping them feel safe, included and confident in their learning environment.Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with complex SEND needs. Support pupils with SLD, PMLD, autism and additional learning difficulties. Assist with personal care, including toileting, changing and hygiene routines, while maintaining dignity and safeguarding standards. Support pupils with physical disabilities and mobility needs.
