We are partnering with our client to recruit a Feedstock Planning & Sourcing Coordinator. This role is key to ensuring efficient feedstock supply, effective stock management, and smooth coordination between suppliers, hauliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate feedstock deliveries across all business operations to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
  • Liaise with feedstock suppliers and hauliers to ensure reliable service and compliance with agreed terms.
  • Manage weighbridge operations, ensuring accurate and efficient service provision across sites.
  • Monitor supplier and haulier performance, particularly in relation to on-time delivery, specifications, vehicle weights, waste returns, and legislative standards.
  • Plan and schedule despatches from site in accordance with commercial agreements.
  • Manage onsite and offsite stockholding capacity, identifying and securing alternative storage solutions when necessary.
  • Work with the Commercial & Procurement Manager to review supplier and haulier performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and service improvements.
  • Ensure feedstock purchase and sales orders are raised, authorised, and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain short- to medium-term visibility of feedstock risks and opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and assess new feedstock opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date feedstock records.
  • Prepare and deliver daily and weekly reports, including KPI updates.
  • Participate in relevant daily and weekly business meetings.
  • Take accountability for achieving KPI targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years'' experience in the Waste or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong skills in scheduling, planning, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and numerate with excellent attention to detail.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective relationship management.
  • Solid process management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
