This is a rewarding opportunity to support post-16 learners in developing independence, confidence, and key life and vocational skills as they progress into further education, training or employment. The RoleWorking within FE colleges and post-16 provisions, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners with ALN within classroom and workshop environments Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive learning alongside Lecturers Assist learners in accessing both academic and vocational curricula, including practical sessions Promote independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours Support learners with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH and complex needs Use a calm, patient and nurturing approach to behaviour management and de-escalation Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff on learner development Support with personal care where required (dependent on role) Contribute to maintaining a safe, ..... full job details .....
