Service and Fault-Finding Engineer Location: Andover - with some field-based work as requiredSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOEAdditional Benefits: Profit Share Scheme 23 days holiday + Bank Holiday We are currently recruiting for a Service and Fault-Finding Engineer to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business based in Andover. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on diagnosing, repairing and preventing electrical, mechanical and control-system faults across specialist industrial machinery. You''ll work closely with field service, engineering and manufacturing teams to get equipment back up and running, while also looking beyond the immediate fault to identify root causes and preventative solutions. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and control-system faults. Carry out structured fault-finding and root-cause analysis. Identify recurring machine faults and implement solutions to prevent repeat failures. Work alongside engineering and manufacturing teams to improve machine reliability and serviceability. Recommend and implement preventative maintenance, component upgrades and machine modifications. Provide feedback from field service activities to support future machine design and development. Help develop preventative maintenance schedules and servicing procedures. Record and analyse service issues to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities.
