Fault Finding and Reliability Engineer 45,000 - 55,000 Andover Days 40 hoursWe''re looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and getting to the root cause of issues. You''ll be working with machinery, identifying recurring faults, fixing them properly and finding ways to prevent them happening again.The RoleDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and control-system faultsCarry out root cause analysis and investigate recurring failuresImprove machine reliability and reduce downtimeRecommend and implement preventative maintenance, upgrades and modificationsWork closely with engineering and manufacturing teamsDevelop maintenance schedules and servicing proceduresAnalyse fault trends and identify opportunities for improvementProvide occasional support at other sites when required - very limited travelWe''re Looking ForStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsExperience with machinery, automation, control systems or industrial equipmentA methodical approach to diagnostics and root cause analysisExperience with wiring, control panels and machine assemblyKnowledge of sensors, motors, drives, relays and machine-control componentsBasic C++ knowledge is desirable, or willingness to learnPreventative maintenance/improvement experience is advantageousStrong communication and customer-facing skillsFull UK driving licencePackage 45,000 - 55,000, depending on experienceOvertime / shift allowance availableProfit share40 hours per week, ..... full job details .....
