FAT Engineer

Join Schneider Electric as a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Engineer, ensuring our low-voltage switchboards, motor control centres, and control systems are delivered right first time and fully compliant with customer specifications before dispatch. This is a critical role where you''ll combine technical expertise, customer engagement, and digital testing processes to guarantee quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Based within our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for executing and witnessing FAT activities while driving continuous improvement in testing performance, documentation, and traceability. What will you do: Plan, coordinate, and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for LV switchboards, motor control centres, and control systems. Verify products meet customer specifications, approved drawings, and applicable industry standards. Conduct functional, electrical, protection, and communication testing activities. Lead customer witness testing and provide technical support throughout FAT activities. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve non-conformances, defects, and technical issues during testing. Produce and maintain accurate FAT records, reports, test documentation, and digital quality records using systems such as LDS and DISS, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
