Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Worker to join our team on a busy mixed farm in Northern Ireland. The farm is home to dairy cows (milked via 4 robotic systems), pigs, and beef cattle.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Daily care of livestock, including feeding calves through to larger stock
• Carrying out animal husbandry and welfare to a high standard
• Operating farm machinery: tractors, bedding machine, slurry equipment, silage and crop machinery
• Routine tasks such as scraping out, cleaning sheds, and maintaining hygiene
• Checking stock regularly and reporting issues promptly
• Maintaining strict Health & Safety standards at all times
• Working flexibly as part of a team and using initiative when required

Requirements

• UK driving licence (essential)
• Proven farm experience with cattle and/or pigs
• Good knowledge of livestock handling and welfare
• Ability to communicate clearly with good oral and written English
• A team player with a strong work ethic and flexibility for varied hours
