The farm is proud of its forward thinking approach and focus on continuous improvement.What You Will Be DoingAs Farm Manager, you will lead all arable and potato operations. You will:Manage crop planning, planting, growing, and harvest operationsDevelop and trial new crop opportunities to enhance profitabilityCreate nutrition plans, crop rotations, irrigation schedules, and cultivation strategiesMonitor crop performance, pests, and diseases, implementing preventative and reactive measuresRecruit, train, and manage permanent and seasonal staffPlan workloads, manage performance, and promote a positive team cultureOversee machinery and equipment care to ensure efficient useManage budgets, input costs, labour planning, and provide performance reportingMaintain health and safety compliance and champion sustainable farming practicesWhat You NeedPrevious farm management experience, ideally in arable and root crop productionProven leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teamsStrong organisational, planning, and communication abilitiesKnowledge of modern arable and root crop techniques, machinery, and sustainable agricultureAgricultural ..... full job details .....
