Farm Foreman (Permanent Position)
Location: Northampton
Salary: £30,203 – £34,022 per annum
Annual Leave: 33 days + 5 days Christmas closure
Pension: Government workplace pension with 20% employer contribution

Think FE are proud to be working with an EF college in Northampton who are seeking a reliable Farm Foreman. Reporting to the Farm Manager and supported by a dedicated farm worker, you’ll take an active role in livestock management, arable operations, and machinery upkeep.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lambing and calving
- Managing harvest and arable operations
- Maintaining and operating a range of farm equipment and machinery
You’ll need the following qualifications and experience:
- A vocational, farm-based qualification
- A valid licence for either a telehandler or a forklift
- Spraying certifications – ideally PA1 and PA6
- Demonstrated experience in livestock handling (particularly sheep), feed systems, and arable farming
