Are you passionate about supporting families affected by substance use to achieve lasting change? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join Oasis Project, an award-winning charity delivering specialist drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services for women, children and families.-
As a Family Team Recovery Worker, you will work within a trauma-informed, gender-responsive and child-centred service, providing structured support to women and families with complex needs. You will play a key role in delivering Oasis Project''s Parenting Our Children, Accessing Recovery (POCAR) programme, working directly with mothers and, where appropriate, fathers who may be involved with Children''s Social Care.-
This is a varied, rewarding and sometimes emotionally demanding role where you will work within a team to manage a caseload, deliver individual and group interventions, contribute to safeguarding and child protection processes, and work closely with Children''s Social Care and partner agencies to support positive outcomes for families. -
You will be confident working independently in the community, including some lone working, while maintaining strong professional boundaries and building trusting relationships.-
You will have experience supporting people affected by substance use or other complex needs, along with experience of safeguarding, caseload management and multi-agency working.
Relevant Health and Social Care experience and / or a qualification, is essential. Knowledge of recovery approaches, trauma-informed practice and safeguarding procedures is also required.-
