Family Law Paralegal - Prescot - Care Proceedings FocusAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a busy and supportive Family Law team based in Prescot.This role will involve supporting senior fee earners within a large and fast-paced department, with a caseload focused predominantly on Care proceedings. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting clients and the wider team across a varied workload.Hybrid working may be available following the successful completion of probation, although the role will require office-based working for part of the week long term.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Opening and setting up new client filesProviding day-to-day support to the Family Law teamKeeping clients updated on case progressLiaising with courts, experts and external agenciesManaging appointments and diariesTaking and making telephone callsPreparing hearing bundles and court documentationMeeting with clients both in person and remotely where requiredProviding general legal and administrative supportAttending court to assist counsel and/or clientsCarrying out Legal Aid assessments and applicationsTaking initial client instructions and appointmentsRequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates should:Ideally have at least 12 months'' experience within a Family Law teamHave strong organisational and time management skillsBe able to prioritise a busy and demanding workloadBe confident communicating with clients and ..... full job details .....
