Family Support Worker - Accommodation Location: Heathcote Building - office based initially Salary: 27,239 FTE Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Temporary for an initial 3 months, with a view to becoming permanent Working Arrangement: Office based during probation, with the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week following successful completion of probation About the Role We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Family Support Worker to join an accommodation-based domestic abuse service. This is an opportunity to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, helping them to move towards safe and independent living. You will provide risk-assessed, strength-based and needs-led support, working closely with families throughout their journey. This will include developing individual and family safety plans, providing practical and emotional support, and advocating on behalf of women and children with other agencies.
