We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Family Support Workers role based in Tower Hamlets.Role Overview:As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. You will offer tailored support to families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your responsibilities will include risk assessments, safety planning, and providing emotional and practical support.Key Responsibilities:Provide vital support to families affected by domestic violence, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.Conduct detailed risk and needs assessments for adults and children.Assist families in creating individual safety plans to manage risks and improve their circumstances.Collaborate with various agencies to ensure comprehensive, holistic support for clients.Offer practical support in areas such as housing, finances, and accessing services for children.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.Essential Requirements:A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one.A strong commitment to supporting families facing domestic violence and abuse.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals or families, ideally in a domestic violence setting.Ability to work full-time hours in Tower Hamlets.Why Caritas Futures?At Caritas Futures, we ..... full job details .....
