Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Support Worker to join St Helens Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.-
Key Responsibilities:
- Support social workers with assessments and care planning
- Deliver practical and hands-on support to families in their homes
- Supervise Family Time (contact sessions) between children and families
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews
- Work closely with partner agencies to support families effectively
About You
- Experience working with children, young people, or families
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
- Full UK Drivers Licence and own vehicle
