Family Support Coordinator Immediate Start Temporary Position £16.48 per hour Location: West LondonHours: 15 hours per weekPay Rate: £16.48 per hourContract Type: TemporaryStart Date: Immediate About the Role We are currently seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Family Support Coordinator to join a community-based support service in West London. The successful candidate will work with families experiencing a range of challenges, helping them access appropriate support and services to improve family wellbeing and outcomes for young children. The role involves assessing individual needs, coordinating support, maintaining accurate records and building effective relationships with families, professionals and community organisations. Key Responsibilities Receive referrals and assess individual and family support needs. Complete risk assessments and identify safeguarding concerns, escalating issues in accordance with relevant procedures. Coordinate appropriate support arrangements based on individual family circumstances. Monitor and review support plans, recording progress and outcomes. Provide one-to-one support where required and assist with group activities and community events. Support the recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of volunteers. Coordinate volunteer placements and provide regular supervision and guidance. Complete relevant background checks and reference checks in line with organisational procedures.
