Family Support AssistantEmployer: Quantum ScholarsLocation: WokinghamWorking arrangement: In-person, home and community-based support - this is not an online roleHours: 2.5 hours per morning, 4 mornings per weekFocus: Supporting a family and a highly anxious young person who is educated other than at school (EOTAS)Quantum Scholars is looking for a calm, compassionate and reliable Family Support Assistant to work with a family in Wokingham. The role will involve providing practical and emotional support to the family of a highly anxious young person who is currently receiving their education through an EOTAS arrangement.This is a relationship-based role where consistency, patience and sensitivity are extremely important. You will help create a supportive environment around the young person while also assisting their family with some of the practical day-to-day demands of home life (i.e. tidying) and education outside of a traditional school setting.The role may involveBuilding a positive, trusting relationship with the young person and their family.Providing practical support to help the family manage day-to-day routines and education-related activities.Supporting the family with general household tasks where needed, such as tidying, organising shared spaces and other light practical duties.Being willing to take a flexible and hands-on approach to supporting the family with everyday tasks that help create a calm and organised home environment.Supporting the young person to ..... full job details .....
