An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Family Solicitor to lead and develop a well-established Family Law department within a respected private practice in Wokingham. This is a key leadership role offering autonomy, strategic input, and genuine long-term progression.This role is ideal for a Senior Family Solicitor, Family Partner or aspiring Head of Department who is confident managing a caseload, supervising junior staff, and driving business development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Family Law team, overseeing performance, supervision, and developmentHandle a high-quality caseload including: Divorce and financial remedy mattersPrivate children workCohabitation disputes and TOLATA claimsPre- and post-nuptial agreementsDevelop and implement departmental growth strategyBuild and maintain strong client relationships and referral networksSupport fee earners with technical expertise and complex casesEnsure compliance with regulatory and internal standardsRequirementsQualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with strong family law experienceSenior-level candidate (5+ PQE ideally) with leadership or supervisory experienceProven track record in business development and client acquisitionStrong technical knowledge across a broad range of family law mattersExcellent communication and team leadership skillsNQ Solicitors will not be suitable for this role due to the seniority required, however strong Senior Associates or Partners looking for a step up ..... full job details .....
