Family Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Family Solicitor to lead and develop a well-established Family Law department within a respected private practice in Wokingham. This is a key leadership role offering autonomy, strategic input, and genuine long-term progression. This role is ideal for a Senior Family Solicitor, Family Partner or aspiring Head of Department who is confident managing a caseload, supervising junior staff, and driving business development. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Family Law team, overseeing performance, supervision, and development Handle a high-quality caseload including: Divorce and financial remedy matters Private children work Cohabitation disputes and TOLATA claims Pre- and post-nuptial agreements Develop and implement departmental growth strategy Build and maintain strong client relationships and referral networks Support fee earners with technical expertise and complex cases Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards Requirements Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with strong family law experience Senior-level candidate (5+ PQE ideally) with leadership or supervisory experience Proven track record in business development and client acquisition Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of family law matters Excellent communication and team leadership skills NQ Solicitors will not be suitable for this role due to the seniority required, however strong Senior Associates or Partners ..... full job details .....
