You will support solicitors representing parents and other parties in care proceedings and related applications, much of which is legally aided.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting fee earners with a caseload of public law children matters, including care proceedings, supervision orders, emergency protection orders, and adoption-related applicationsSupporting cases funded by legal aid, including assisting with Legal Aid Agency applications and complianceDrafting correspondence, statements, court applications, and other legal documentsPreparing court bundles and trial documentation in accordance with court directionsLiaising with clients, counsel, local authorities, experts, and court staffAttending client meetings, conferences with counsel, and hearings where appropriate, taking detailed notesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date file records in line with regulatory and legal aid ..... full job details .....
