Family Paralegal

Job Title: Family ParalegalSalary: £25,000 - £32,000+ (DOE)Location: Watford (Hybrid available)Job Type: Permanent, Full-timeWe are looking for a driven and capable paralegal with a solid understanding of family law. The role will involve a mix of private and publicly funded work, depending on experience, and offers the opportunity to develop hands-on experience across a broad range of matters. You will be responsible for taking instructions from clients, assisting on cases, and in some instances managing your own files from start to finish.Main Responsibilities:Supporting solicitors on a range of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, and domestic abuse casesAssisting with legal aid applications where applicableManaging client files and maintaining accurate, up-to-date recordsConducting legal research and preparing summariesLiaising with clients, courts, and third partiesPreparing bundles and assisting with hearings and client meetingsSupporting billing processes and maintaining time recordsEssential Skills and Experience:A good understanding of family law (private and/or legal aid experience advantageous)Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systemsIf this sounds like the right role for you, please apply.
