This is a short-term assignment offering a competitive hourly rate and a clearly defined period of cover. It would suit an experienced family lawyer with availability between assignments who can take responsibility for existing matters and maintain continuity of client service. The RoleYou will provide day-to-day support across the firm''s family law caseload, ensuring matters continue to progress during the assignment. Responsibilities will include: Reviewing existing files and identifying immediate priorities Providing clear, practical advice and updates to clients Preparing correspondence and relevant legal documentation Monitoring deadlines and progressing outstanding actions Liaising with other solicitors, counsel and third parties as required Maintaining accurate records and providing a clear handover at the end of the assignment Full details of the caseload, hours and working arrangements can be discussed during an initial conversation.
