Family Fee Earner Location: Sunderland or Newcastle (depending on the candidates location)Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time 3 days per weekSalary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (pro rata)Job DescriptionThe role of Family Fee Earner involves providing comprehensive legal support and advice to clients on a range of family law matters. The position demands an individual who is organised, client-focused, and able to manage a varied caseload efficiently. This role is based in Sunderland and requires part-time hours, offering flexibility while maintaining a commitment to high-quality legal service delivery. This role is to join a well established team as the role is only 3 days per week the candidate will be office based. Job Duties Manage a caseload of family law matters including but not limited to divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, domestic abuse cases, and adoption.Conduct client interviews to gather relevant information and provide clear, accurate legal advice tailored to each client s circumstances.Draught legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, court applications, and correspondence.Prepare cases for court hearings, including collating evidence and liaising with barristers and court officials.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve the most favourable outcomes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory and firm standards.Keep abreast of changes in family law legislation and case law to ensure advice ..... full job details .....
