Family Fee Earner Location: Spennymoor, County Durham, North East EnglandSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumJob Description The Family Fee Earner undertakes a wide range of legal work relating to family law matters, providing client advice and support throughout each case. The role involves managing a caseload, preparing legal documents, attending meetings and court hearings, and liaising with clients and other professionals to ensure the effective delivery of legal services. The position requires a thorough understanding of family law and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and empathy. The Family Fee Earner works closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of client care and compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage and progress a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, and domestic abuse cases.Provide clear, concise and accurate legal advice to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.Draught and review legal documents such as court applications, statements, consent orders and correspondence.Attend client meetings, court hearings and mediation sessions as required.Liaise with clients, external agencies, barristers and court staff to facilitate case progression.Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.Identify and refer complex matters to senior colleagues or specialists when ..... full job details .....
