Family Court Adviser - Cafcass Agency Role Stevenage 37/hr UmbrellaContract: Until 31/03/2027 Hours: 1 day per week in office (hybrid) Pay: Up to 37/hour (umbrella)About the RoleEden Brown Synergy is recruiting an experienced Family Court Adviser to join Cafcass in Stevenage. This agency role is ideal for qualified social workers with experience in children''s services, Public Law, and Private Law court proceedings.As a Family Court Adviser, you will manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and provide reports to the family courts, ensuring the child''s voice is central. You will work closely with social workers, legal professionals, local authorities, and other agencies.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct safeguarding assessments and prepare Section 7 and Section 37 reportsManage cases in Private Law and Public Law proceedingsRepresent Cafcass in court and provide evidence-based recommendationsCollaborate with local authorities, lawyers, and social work teamsMaintain accurate records and ensure statutory complianceEssential RequirementsSocial Work Degree or equivalent qualificationMinimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in children''s social workExperience in Private Law and Public Law court casesSocial Work England registrationFull UK driving licence and access to a vehiclePay and BenefitsPay rate: up to 37 per hour (umbrella)DBS check processed and paid by Eden Brown SynergyReferral bonus up to 300 for recommending colleaguesBonus for finding your own roleTwice weekly ..... full job details .....
