Role: Family / Child Care Solicitor Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Contract: Full time, permanentOur client, a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm, is seeking a Family Solicitor (1-3 years PQE) to join its growing team in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role will primarily involve private family law work, with the opportunity to gain exposure to and assist within the firm''s Child Care department for candidates interested in broadening their experience.The RoleYou will handle a varied caseload of family matters including:Divorce and separationFinancial remedy proceedingsPrivate children mattersCohabitation disputesPre- and post-nuptial agreementsDomestic abuse injunctionsThere will also be the opportunity to assist on public law children matters and care proceedings alongside experienced practitioners within the Child Care team.The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will:Be a qualified solicitor with 1-3 years PQE in family lawHave experience managing their own caseloadIdeally have some exposure to child care/public law matters, although this is not essentialDemonstrate excellent client care and communication skillsBe commercially aware, organised, and proactiveWork effectively both independently and as part of a wider teamWhat''s on OfferCompetitive salary dependent on experienceHigh-quality and ..... full job details .....
