FAIR Inspector / Engineer Location: Greater ManchesterSalary: £17.58 per hour, rising to £18.50 following successful probationWorking Arrangement: Full-time On-site The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced FAIR Inspector / Engineer to join an established engineering organisation at its Greater Manchester manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional with strong First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) experience gained within a metallic manufacturing environment, ideally within the aerospace or defence sectors. The Role You will be responsible for compiling, reviewing and submitting full and delta FAIRs, ensuring manufactured components meet the required engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Compiling, reviewing and submitting full and delta FAIRs. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. Inspecting sheet metal, assembled, machined and/or turned components. Using inspection and measuring equipment, including hand measuring tools, Keyence and CMM equipment. Supporting non-conformance and MRB processes. Maintaining accurate inspection records and quality documentation. Working in accordance with established QMS/IMS procedures. Following company 5S, quality and health and safety standards.
